GOLD COAST – Friday 8th April

Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Gold Coast invites you to indulge in a unique gastronomic experience as you set sail on the beautiful Gold Coast Broadwater. Set aboard the World’s first Super Yacht Entertainment venue – The YOT CLUB, join our celebrity chefs for an afternoon full of flavour, fine wine, and finesse. Gather with friends and family for this exciting and lunch event and be amazed by the culinary creations served.

Ingredients (Serves 10)

Prep & Cooking time: 30 minutes

500g spaghetti

5 golden shallots, thinly sliced

200ml white wine

8 cloves garlic, thinly sliced

1 bunch chives, chopped

500g cooked crab meat

1 bunch flat parsley, roughly chopped

120ml extra virgin olive oil

150g unsalted butter

Juice & zest of 1 lemon

Salt & pepper

Method

¾ fill a large pot with water and add 1 tbsp salt, bring to boil & add pasta, stirring occasionally for the first two minutes.

Place large saucepan on stove and bring to medium heat. Add olive oil, shallots and garlic, sauté until soft but with no colour.

Add white wine and cook for 1 minute.

Add butter, crabmeat, herbs salt & pepper.

After pasta has been cooking 9 minutes approx drain and add to saucepan.

Toss ingredients together. Season to taste & serve.
