Chef Laura Sharrad made her first appearance on MasterChef Australia in 2014 at the age of 18. After impressing the masses with her fierce level of competition and finishing as runner-up, Laura went on to hone her culinary skills as pastry chef at hatted restaurant Orana alongside Jock Zonfrillo. She moved back to her hometown of Adelaide in 2018 to open up Nido, a contemporary Italian pasta bar alongside her husband and fellow chef, Max Sharrad. The Sharrad’s then went on to open Fugazzi, a luxe Italian American inspired dining room located in the heart of the city.
Laura was once again a fierce competitor on season 12 of MasterChef Australia, where she frequently wowed judges with her innovative dishes and refined craft.
Laura published her first cook book My Italian Kitchen in 2015.
